Some fun places to eat in Ontonagon MI

While camping just outside of downtown Ontonagon we thought we would explore some and try out some of the area places to eat.

So we made a couple of different trips into town.

We tried Syls which was quite delicious. We had breakfast there and took pasties back to camp with us. We really enjoy the pasties from Syls. We bake one and split it with a salad for lunch.

We enjoyed a great treat after we visited some area parks

Just for fun we stopped and had lunch one day. It was very good, arrived quickly, and was hot. I couldn't finish it all so had the leftovers for lunch the next day. Often times when you order a french dip it is lunch meat, but this is not it is a true slice of roast beef.

Ontonagon MI Historical Society (1)

We found this little Historical Society in Ontonagon. It was a great place to visit, there was so much to look at and see.

The cost was reasonable and you can stay and look for a long period of time.

It's a great place to take your family to observe and learn about the past of that area and many areas of the country.

I will have another post with more photos!

It's a story about a young man who was adopted into a Christian farming family in the 1960's. This story includes valuable Bible Studies, an engaging mystery, and some great values. This is the first in the series of six, more coming soon.
